MARINE BIOLOGY 9
This course is designed to provide students an opportunity to explore a wide variety of components related to a career in marine biology. Students will experience a basic introduction to marine biology through hands-on experiences, videos, guest lectures and projects. The course is designed to be an academic option with many skills and concepts built on the Alberta science curriculum, with no significant overlap in the content. Topics covered include: oceanography, mammals of the sea, invertebrates and echinoderms, reptiles and amphibians of the Sea, turtles and fish.
Note: Occasional field trips will incur commensurate fees.
