Home Ec. Fashion 7/8
In Home Ec. Fashion 7/8, students will learn basic knitting, embroidery, iron transfer, hand sewing, and machine sewing techniques, and will complete simple projects such as scarves, pillows, stuffed animals, shoulder bags, and boxer shorts.
Note: A basic fee of $25 is charged to all students for consumable materials (thread, needles, bobbins, fabric, etc.) and a complete sewing kit that will be theirs to keep.
Home Ec. Foods 7/8
In Home Ec. Foods7/8, students will enjoy preparing gourmet delights while learning the basics of successful cooking and the benefits of healthy food choices.
Note: A basic fee of $25 is charged to all students in the trimester course and $40 in the full year course to cover a portion of the food items.
Home Ec. Foods 9
In Home Ec. Foods 9, students will plan and prepare a variety of snacks, appetizers, and meals such as cookies, cinnamon buns, muffins, pies, scones, bruschetta, pizza, lasagne, and caesar salad.
Note: A basic fee of $40 is charged to all students to cover a portion of the food items.
